Hi all!
I’m a six-generation Mississippian (the wagon broke on the way to Missouri). My sisters and I grew up playing make believe as most children do. Our mother read to us almost every day.
Stories have followed me into adulthood; I received both my Bachelor’s and Master’s in writing from Belhaven University and SCAD, respectively.
In the past, I’ve been a barista, dog-sitter, and HR assistant. Due to my love of books, I’ve been a bookseller at both E. Shaver, Bookseller and Lemuria Books. I currently work as a social media manager and copywriter for Moore Media Group in Jackson, MS.
Outside of work, I’ve created and produced my first fictional podcast, The Kleio Files. After moving back to my hometown in 2020, I finished drafting two books: an adult fantasy and middle grade fantasy. I also write short stories and scripts for stage and screen.
When not writing, I can usually be found with a cup of tea and book in hand. Or I’m rearranging my plants to get more sun. Or making breakfast foods. Or wrangling my cat Nona..
